But glimpses have already informed us that there is much to look forward to in this play station 4 exclusive game. Keep reading to find out three major previews of what you can expect from this game.
Engaging Plot and Characters
The game is set two years from a global pandemic that has the world and turned most of the population into cannibalistic creatures called “freakers”. The player controls the game from the perspective of Deacon St. John who is living on the road. There is danger at every turn with hordes (gathering of thousands of freakers in one area), infected wildlife and changing weather that influences the game. The dynamic weather is a big part of the game as if has an effect on the freakers. For example, cold weather attracts more freakers. The plot is highly engaging and there are layers to Deacon’s character that the player will enjoy exploring.
The Motorcycle and the Weapons
No survival game is complete without a cool mode of transportation. Deacon’s motorcycle is an important part of the game. It helps him navigate the world and carries all his weapons that can be accessed at any time. It can also be customized based on the need of the player and the demands of the environment. But watch out, as part of this game, the fuel for the motorcycle depletes and has to be replenished through missions. Days gone also has an intense range of weapons that be used from pistols, assault rifles, proximity bombs and axes. Weapons from around the environment can also be used to kill freakers.
Choice Remains with the Player
The game allows players to play the game their way. Multiple routes can be taken to help complete a mission and the player can choose different tactics to help achieve the goal of the mission. For example, preview from the game at the E3 2017 demo has shown the player being able to use stealth and detraction or weaponry for takedowns and sneaking away.
